The latest trend, finding places to get away from Wifi and phone connection

It is getting harder and harder to find places on the planet where there are no technological connections.

There is a real need for people to get off their phones and resume a face to face connection with their tribe.

We are fortunate at the Futaleufu where black out pockets still exist and as we at our camp feel extremely blessed that there is no wifi or cellular coverage.

It is amazing how quickly we peel back the layers and return to our primordial instincts of sitting around a campfire sharing songs and stories.

Storytelling is not dead nor is there a lack of eye contact when you look for it and find it eager to engage and smile right back at you.

We in our modern life in huge cities, on public transportation, rather look at the ground and our phones than the people around us.

How bizarre?

How really freaking weird that it is?

Take an elevator and if someone strikes up a conversation it invariably makes everyone uncomfortable and the social person gets explained away as a weirdo.

Well, the weirdos are the ones who have lost that loving feeling of being social, being neighborly and being aware of their surroundings.

We stand a chance to get it all back if we are able to return to the wilderness and reconnect with our wild selves, our wilder souls and re-engage our instincts, our survival instincts which if you look at our short appearance on the earth, all went back to cooperation and community of you wanted to survive the night or the winter come get wild people.

You deserve it.
